About Me

Because wellness isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a life that feels good inside and out.

Wellness hasn’t always come easily for me. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, just like many of the people I work with. What I’ve learned along the way is that feeling strong, confident, and balanced, isn’t about chasing perfection: it’s about shifting your mindset and creating habits that truly fit your life. My path, from dancer to fitness professional to health coach, has taught me that wellness is about living with energy, balance, and joy. And that’s what I’m here to help you discover, too.

From Dance to the Stage:

My love of movement started at a very young age. I honestly think I was born wearing a dancing costume and immediately moving around the room!

My interest in dance began soon after I could walk, and blossomed into a passion for acting and singing as well. I went on to pursue musical theater and graduated with a Bachelor of Music from New York University. I performed throughout my childhood, into my college years, and throughout my early 20’s. But as much as I loved performing, I eventually realized the lifestyle wasn’t the right fit for me.

Discovering Fitness:

Fortunately, another life-long passion of mine was fitness. When I was younger, you had to be 18 years old to join a gym. So in my early teenage years, I was exercising to workout videos at home and taking Jazzercise and Aerobics classes locally. The moment I turned 18, I joined a gym. And it’s been my happy place ever since (well, a gym AND at home with my floppy-eared basset hound, and favorite workout buddy, Murphy).

After graduating college, while performing on a cruise ship, I got the chance to sub for the fitness director and teach group fitness classes when she was injured. I had never taught before, but from the very first class, I was hooked. That was the beginning of my career shift. When my contract ended, I took my first job in the fitness industry (over 25 years ago), and I haven’t looked back.

A Lifelong Passion Meets Professional Experience:

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats:

  • Group Fitness Instructor

  • Personal Trainer

  • Group Fitness Manager

  • Assistant Athletic Director

  • Gym Manager

And today, all of these experiences come together in my work as a Health Coach, helping others build balance, strength, and confidence.

Why I Coach:

Health and wellness isn’t just about being stronger or leaner. It’s about creating a well-balanced, vibrant life. I understand what it feels like to lack balance. I’ve had many ups and downs myself, but learning to prioritize balance and, most importantly, to shift my mindset has been a game changer. That shift has allowed me to live with more strength, energy, and joy. And that’s exactly what I want to help you discover too.
